JASON STORRS

KITCHEN CREW/DISHWASER

THIS IS JASON.  He moved to McMinnville from Los Angeles 25 years ago and has been with Community Plate as our dishwasher extraordinaire since opening day - April 5, 2011.  OVER EIGHT YEARS.  His first foray into food was at Linfield College in the kitchen department cooking for students and families and has since become a skilled flooring contractor with experience installing any/all possible combinations for your remodel. ;-)

Jason has seen so many concerts that he might as well be in the rock and roll hall of fame.  He has his own music set up in the dish pit and sings along all day to arena rock of the 80s and 90s.  The pastry station is adjacent to the dish pit at CP, where Jason and Courtney (also well-versed in the genre) created a stereo experience of hair-band-harmony for all who wandered through the back of the house.  Jason is particularly fond of Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica, for whom he keeps a calendar of tour dates filed away in his brain at all times.  Just ask him.

WHEN ASKED ABOUT WORKING AT COMMUNITY PLATE, Jason has this to say:
“I love the atmosphere, the crew, staying busy, customers too!  I want everybody to be happy.”

Honestly, that just about sums Jason up. His positivity is downright infectious, and his attitude keeps the rest of us going on days when the restaurant Gods are making life difficult.
